(CAST IRON WITH BRONZE IMPELLERS)
C.R.I. 6" Evergreen Series Submersible pumps are available
with different materials of construction. Pumps are
incorporated with extremely hardwearing bearings and built
in stainless steel check valve. All vital components of
these pumps are designed for the best possible hydraulic
efficiency. All the bronze components are made of high
grade "bronze" to resist corrosion. Also the high quality
cast iron components and shaft made of S.S. 431 ensures the
long life of the pump. Pumps are multistage centrifugal
type, which are firmly coupled to a submersible electric
motor which operates submerged beneath the surface of water.
Built in check valve prevents back flow and reduces the risk
of water hammering. C.R.I. Submersible pumps can be offered
with C.R.I. 'W' Series, water filled rewindable submersible
motors or any other NEMA Standard motors.
C.R.I. 'W' SERIES SUBMERSIBLE MOTORS
These motors are wet type, water filled and rewindable. The
stator windings are made of water proof synthetic film
insulated copper winding wires. It features water lubricated
thrust and journal bearings. Motor is pre-filled with clear,
cold, pure, filtered water. However, on request motors can
be pre-filled with water and propylene glycol (Anti-freeze
agent) for places where the temperature is below the
freezing conditions. Before commissioning, ensure the
pre-filled level of water inside the motor. If any loss of
volume is noticed, refill with clear, cold, pure, fresh,
filtered water, through the water filling plugs provided in
the upper housing. Should the use of anti-freeze agent mixed
water not be allowed for special applications, these motors
can also be filled with clear, cold, pure, fresh, filtered
water and operated.
Mounting
dimensions of pumps and motors are in accordance with NEMA
standards.
