C.R.I. peripheral pump�s volute chamber and impellers are designed to give the best possible hydraulic efficiency and suction lift characteristics. Sealing is by means of a bellows mechanical seal made of carbon and ceramic is fitted over the shaft, which is ground to close tolerances. Self priming models have built in check valve on the suction side which requires no foot valve.  The brass inserts provided inside the   pump casing educes wear & tear and this give longer life and prevent the pump from seizing if it is kept idle for long period. Pumps are powered by a totally enclosed fan cooled, A.C. induction two pole motors suitable for continuous duty. Motor stator is made of low watt loss steel laminations. The windings are of high grade enameled copper wire and are varnish impregnated.  Dynamically balanced rotor ensures vibration and noise free operations.  Construction of motor frames and usage of quality materials result in high performance and low temperature rise thereby increasing the life cycle of the motor. A thermal over load protector (motor protector) is incorporated in all single phase motors.  These pumps require an adequate motor protection control panel.
